We will have a final closing period from 24 December to 14 January to finish the last of the renovations. You will be able to make returns through the slot in the wall in this period, but any holds will be sent to the library at Rykkinn. If you would like to pick your hold up at Bekkestua or Høvik instead, please contact us.
15 January there will be a grand opening of the new ground floor at 13.00 – with cake! You are invited to attend and discover our new spaces, visit our new cafe, and draw up a contract to use the staffless library! The staffless library in Sandvika will be active from 15 January at 19.00 hrs.

Information about the renovations
The library will be expanding to the ground floor (Baracoa pub’s previous location), as well as more space on the first floor (Hawaii hairdresser’s old location). We will get a new inside elevator between all three floors.
In the closing period we will also plan new services highly requested by our users, such as more space for working alone and in groups.
